Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 2026 · Last Updated: September 2026
Ology LLC ("Ology," "we," "us," or "our") operates ologycollective.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website or contact us.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, company name, and message when you submit our contact form
Information collected automatically:
- Basic usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, time on site, general location, device type)
- This data is aggregated and anonymous
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Follow up on potential engagements
- Log contact submissions internally for our records
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics — website traffic analysis (data is anonymized and aggregated)
- Slack — internal notification of contact form submissions
- Google Sheets — internal logging of contact form submissions
These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary for business purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at hello@ologycollective.com.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, all of them set by Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share what they record.
What they are:
- _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another so repeat visits are not counted as new people. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<stream id> — keeps track of a single visit, so a few pages read in one sitting count as one session rather than several. Expires after 2 years.
What they are used for: understanding which pages people read, how they arrived, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they used. It tells us which of our pages are useful. It does not tell us who you are — we never send your name, email address, or anything you type into the contact form to Google Analytics.
Turning them off: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will work normally without them. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics across every site that uses it. Most browsers additionally send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, which Google Analytics honours where local law requires it.
The contact form itself sets no cookies.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Opt out of any future communications from us
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@ologycollective.com.
Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
